What is the Chance Project?
The Chance Project is our open storybook. For now, we use it as a platform to share our experiences, our creative efforts, our personal projects, and our work with non-profit organizations.
We have five main focus areas: Community, Creativity, The Environment, Non-Profits, and Social Change. To answer your question — The Chance Project is a little bit of everything.
What is the goal?
Our goal is to give ourselves and others a Chance for the future, a Chance for a better existence, and a Chance at leaving this world a better place than how we found it.
Who is involved?
Five people from different sides of the planet who have gathered very far from home to do social good – hoping to spur others to do what they can to help the causes as well.
What do you do?
We like to work in the background — as a support beam of sorts.
Our team works side-by-side one another, pooling our creative talents together to get causes seen and to make messages loud and clear.
Most of our efforts involve what we do best: Videography, Photography, Social Engagement, Search Engine Optimization, and Written Content to tell stories.
Every project we’ve done, we’ve outlined the steps we took to complete it. If you’re inspired by one of our projects, you can follow our steps to getting started and then make it your own. Do it bigger and better than us. Just. Get. Started.
So, you’re not a non-profit?
No. We are simply five friends traveling the world, supporting people and organizations we agree with as we go.
What kind of support?
Our support varies, depending on our relationship with the people and the inspiration we draw from their story. We’ll share all of our projects, whether it is raising money for a cause or increasing social awareness through different creative mediums. But we always strive to make our support interactive with an audience.
What’s the plan from here?
We are just a ground army and a small one, at that. That’s how all things have to start. But we believe in the butterfly effect and the bigger picture. One small action can lead to monumental change. We are acting now to put change in motion for later.
That’s a nice sentiment, but do you really think you can save the world?
No, not really. And we don’t think the world needs saving. However, that’s not to say there aren’t a lot of issues we are collectively facing as people on this planet. The important thing is that those issues are recognized and addressed.
OK, how do I support the project?
We want to inspire change. If you want to help us, then start your own project for the social good. Whether it helps Mother Nature who is suffocating, children in Yemen who are starving, or the family down the street who got foreclosed-on. . . it all counts.
You never know what will result until you take action. And make sure you share your progress with us!
How can I connect with you?
We’re all looking after this website. You can use the contact form or reach us on social media. We want to hear about your project. And make sure you watch the video at the top of this page!
